Clark Memorial Campground is a Forest Service site in the canyon bottom along the Thompson River, within the Plains/Thompson Falls Ranger District of Lolo National Forest in western Montana. It sits in a sunny, open setting with a forest nearby and offers fishing in the river. No fees are required to use the site, and the amenities include vault toilets. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Thompson Falls put July and August highs around 86°F with lows in the low 50s and only six or seven wet days a month. Winters are cold, with January highs near 34°F and lows around 24°F. Copper King Campground is about a mile away. Bay State Creek and Honeymoon Creek are both within 3 miles, and Koo Koo Sint Ridge is about 2.8 miles off.
