Peter Pan Boulder is a bouldering area in Massachusetts, about half a mile from the town of West Townsend. It sits among a cluster of other climbing spots, including Forest Boulder, The Oak Flats and Bird Gang Boulder, all within about a tenth of a mile. The area has nine bouldering routes, all rated on the V scale from V0-1 up to V5. The easiest are Happy Thoughts (V0-1) and Evan's Arete (V1), while Neverland is the hardest at V5. The routes are all boulders, and the median grade is V2. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Fitchburg run to highs around 81°F in July, with lows near 61°F. That station sits about 330 feet lower than the boulders, so temperatures on the rock run a little cooler. The Squannacook River, about 1.3 miles away, offers paddling.
