Evil Boulder is a bouldering area on Lynn Water Supply Land in Massachusetts, a cluster of boulders that sit among several other named boulders, including Sponsor Boulder, Behemoth Boulder and Grenade Boulder, all within about a tenth of a mile. The area is a compact, close-knit set of boulders rather than a single climb, and the routes here are all bouldering grades from V2 up to V8-. The climbing is all bouldering, with six routes on the boulder. The easiest are Dark Forces and Full Blown Diarrhea, both V2, and the hardest is The Roof of All Evil at V8-. The median grade is V6-. For timing, late spring and early fall are the most comfortable. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Reading run from highs around 70°F in May to about 75°F in September, with July the warmest at about 84°F. Winter brings regular snow days, with January averaging eight. The closest neighbors are other boulders, with Sharma Boulders about 0.1 mile away. Mountain bikers can head to Shark's Tooth East, about a mile off, and hikers to Eagle Rock Trail, about 1.5 miles away.
