Bird Gang Boulder is a bouldering area in Massachusetts, about half a mile from the town of West Townsend. It sits among a cluster of other bouldering spots, including Forest Boulder, Peter Pan Boulder and Barker Hill, all within about a tenth of a mile. The area has five boulder problems, ranging from V0 to V6. The Bird Gang route is a V2, and Bird Law is the hardest at V6. The routes are all bouldering, and the grade range gives climbers a clear spectrum from easy to challenging. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Fitchburg run to highs around 81°F in July, with lows near 61°F. That station sits a few hundred feet lower than the boulders, so temperatures on the rock may run slightly cooler. The Squannacook River, about 1.3 miles away, offers paddling. The Trilogy East - Northeast Singletrack mountain bike trail is about 2.1 miles off, and the Brook Trail hike is about 2.2 miles away.
