Stick Trail Loop (blue) is a short, easy mountain biking route in Maryland, about 1.3 miles from the town of Crownsville. The 0.3-mile out-and-back ride is a gentle introduction to riding on gravel roads, with well-maintained surfaces that offer good traction and predictable handling. It's an easy green circle route, ideal for beginners or for a quick, low-intensity session. The climb is front-loaded, with the steepest stretch at about 0.22 miles, reaching a high point of 152 feet before returning to the start. The total elevation gain is 51 feet, and the round trip covers about 0.6 miles. For comfortable weather, aim for late spring or early fall.
