Bacon Ridge Road Connector is a short, easy gravel road segment in Maryland's Bacon Ridge Natural Area, about 0.8 miles from the town of Spring Fields. It serves as a gentle introduction to mountain biking or a warm-up for riders of all abilities, with smooth gravel and rolling terrain through wooded land. The route is an out-and-back of about 0.78 miles, with a total climb of 98 feet and a steepest grade of 8% near the start. It connects to other trail systems in the area, and its green circle rating makes it a stress-free ride. For comfortable weather, aim for late spring or early fall.
