Danger Noodle is a 3-mile loop in Black Hill Regional Park in Maryland, with a high point of about 577 feet and a low of about 417 feet. It's an easy ride, climbing about 186 feet from the start, and the steepest part comes around mile 1.4, with a grade of about 8 percent. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Damascus run to highs around 72°F in May and 76°F in September. That station sits a few hundred feet higher than the trail, so temperatures on the route may run slightly warmer. The loop links with the Ten Mile Creek Road Connector and the Ten Mile Creek Trail, both about a tenth of a mile away. Within about 6 miles are the Seneca Creek paddling route and the Devil's Kitchen climbing area.
