Oh Samhill! is a short mountain biking route in Maryland, about 0.4 miles from the community of Treasure Mountain. The ride is an out-and-back of roughly 0.24 miles, with a total climb of about 112 feet and a high point of 774 feet. The steepest stretch comes early, around 0.06 miles in, with a grade of about 10 percent. For comfortable weather, aim for late spring or early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Damascus run to highs around 72°F in May and 76°F in September, with July the warmest month at about 84°F. Several trails lie within a few miles, including Woodland Trail at 2.4 miles and Rails To Trails Path at 2.8 miles. Paddlers can head to the South Branch Patapsco River, about 6.3 miles away, and climbers to the Linganore-Bartonsville area, about 7.2 miles away.
