The Gallery is a climbing area in Kentucky's Daniel Boone National Forest, within the Cumberland Ranger District and the Pendergrass-Murray Recreational Preserve. It is managed by a non-governmental organization, and the surrounding land is a mix of national forest and preserve. The area is a cluster of climbing spots, with Left Field and Volunteer Wall each about 0.1 mile away and The Playground about 0.2 mile away. That makes it easy to string together several routes in one visit. The climbing here runs from sport to trad, with sport routes making up the bulk of the 41 routes. The YDS grades range from 5.8 to 5.14b, so there is something for climbers of all levels. Some of the named routes include 27 Years of Climbing (5.8), No Brain, No Pain (5.10b), and The Shocker (5.14b). For timing, fall is the most comfortable season. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Beattyville show October highs around 69°F with lows near 44°F, and September and October have the fewest wet days of the year.
