Outskirts Boulders is a bouldering area in the London Ranger District of Daniel Boone National Forest in Kentucky, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among several other climbing spots, with Mellow Mushroom and Spaceship Boulder each about 0.1 mile away. The area has nine bouldering routes, all rated from V1 to V5 on the V scale. Tuck and Roll is the easiest at V1, and Labor Days is the hardest at V5. The median grade is V2. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Heidelberg run from highs around 69°F in April and October to about 86°F in July. That station sits roughly 500 feet lower than the boulders, so temperatures on the rock run a little cooler.
