Lost Ridge is a climbing area in Kentucky's Daniel Boone National Forest, within the Cumberland Ranger District. The Forest Service manages the land, and the area sits among several other climbing spots in the district, making it an easy addition to a day spent exploring the surrounding crags. The climbing here is all trad, with six routes ranging from 5.9 to 5.11-. Stonehinge, at 5.10-, and Kaiju, at 5.11-, are two of the named routes. Full Service and Wide Pride are both 5.10, and Boiler Room is 5.10d. The routes are all traditional, so climbers can expect to place their own gear. Fall is a comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Stanton run to highs around 69°F in October and 79°F in September, with fewer wet days than the rest of the year. That station sits about 340 feet lower than the ridge, so temperatures on the ridge run a little cooler. The closest climbing areas are Purple Valley, about half a mile away, and Indian Creek, about a mile off. Board Wall is just over a mile away. For a change from the rock, the Powder Mill Branch Trail is about 3.3 miles away.
