The Infirmary is a climbing area in the Cumberland Ranger District of Daniel Boone National Forest in Kentucky, about 2 miles from the town of Fincastle. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Beattyville show May highs around 75°F and October highs near 69°F, with September and October seeing the fewest wet days of the year. Several other climbing areas sit right next door, including Coopers Cove, Alcatraz and Cloud 9, each about 0.1 mile away. For a change of pace, the Sheltowee Trace high water route is about 4 miles off.
