WaveWall is a bouldering area in Idaho, about half a mile from the town of Portneuf. It is a cluster of boulders rather than a single route, and its climbing is all on rock rather than on a wall. The area holds 17 bouldering routes, ranging from the easy V0 of Bull Snake to the hard V11-12 of Project.... The median grade is V5, so climbers of all levels will find something to work on. Detox Simulator, a V9, was first climbed by Cory Berkebile. The most comfortable months for a visit are late spring and early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Pocatello show May highs around 71°F and September highs around 78°F, while July and August average in the high 80s. Other climbing is close by.
