The Lower Ledge Area is a climbing area in Q'Emiln Park in Idaho, on city land about 7.6 miles from the weather station in Coeur d'Alene. It sits close to several other named climbing areas, including Death Fall Wall, Alpha Wall and Post Wall, all within about a tenth of a mile. That makes it an easy grouping to fit into a single visit. The area offers a range of routes, with 16 climbing routes in total. Of those, nine are sport routes and seven are mixed. Grades run from 5.4 up to 5.12-, with the median around 5.9. The hardest route listed is The Dance, a 5.12- sport route first climbed by Marty Bland. For a change from the rock, the Upper Fifth Canyon Trail starts about 0.4 miles away. Farther out, the John C. Pointner Memorial Wildlife Sanctuary Trail and Misty Mountain lie within about 6.5 miles.
