Liberty Creek Ridge is a hard hike of about 14 miles in the Middle Fork Ranger District of Idaho's Salmon-Challis National Forest, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is an out-and-back that climbs from about 8,014 feet to about 9,041 feet, with a total gain of roughly 1,007 feet. The trail is natural-surfaced and allows horses, but bikes are not permitted. That makes it a good fit for riders on horseback or on foot, and a less practical choice for cyclists. Rock Lake and Martin Mountain both lie about 1.4 miles away, and Cabin Creek is about 2 miles off. For paddling, Camas Creek is about 7 miles away.
