Lakeshore is a 13.9-mile out-and-back hike in the Priest Lake Ranger District of Idaho's Idaho Panhandle National Forests, managed by the Forest Service. The trail gains about 90 feet of elevation, so it's a relatively flat route with only a small climb between its low point at 2,438 feet and its high at 2,616 feet. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station run to highs around 83°F in July and August with only five or six wet days a month, while winter brings highs near freezing and snow on about 10 days a month. The trail is not accessible. Bikes are allowed, and the surface is natural. Beaver Creek campground and the Navigation hike sit about 0.4 miles away. North Blacktail is about 2.3 miles off, and Plowboy Mountain is about 2.5 miles away.
