Hughes Fork is a hard, out-and-back hike in Idaho's Priest Lake Ranger District, part of the Idaho Panhandle National Forests. The trail stretches about 12.7 miles, with an elevation gain of 2,496 feet from the low point at 2,911 feet to a high of 5,572 feet. It is a natural-surface route and not accessible. The hike is open from June 1 to September 30, and the Forest Service manages the land. Several other hikes sit close by: Upper Hughes is about a mile away, Hughes Ridge is about 1.2 miles away and Jackson Creek is about 1.6 miles away. For overnight stays, the Navigation campground is roughly 7 miles off.
