Fritz Creek is a hard hike in Idaho's Caribou-Targhee National Forest, within the Forest Service's Dubois Ranger District. The trail is an out-and-back that climbs from about 7,270 feet to about 9,293 feet, a total gain of 2,017 feet over roughly 6.8 miles. The Fritz Creek Trailhead is the starting point, and the route is open year-round. The trail is natural-surfaced and allows both horses and bikes. It is not an accessible trail, so plan for a route that works with those modes of travel. The Fritz Creek Spur lies just 0.1 mile away, and North Fork Webber Creek and Meyers Creek Trail are both within about 3.5 miles. Italian Canyon is about 7.5 miles off.
