Lone Pine - West Fork is a hard hike in the Dubois Ranger District of Idaho's Caribou-Targhee National Forest, about 7.8 miles long with a one-way elevation gain of 2,076 feet. The trail is an out-and-back, starting at a low point of about 7,087 feet and reaching a high of about 8,522 feet. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is natural-surface. Bikes and horses are allowed, and it is not an accessible trail. Corral Canyon lies just 0.4 miles away, and East Fork Indian Creek and West Modoc Creek are both within about 3 miles. Forest Trail 178 is roughly 7.8 miles off.
