East Fork Hayden Creek is a 12.5-mile out-and-back hike in the Leadore Ranger District of Idaho's Salmon-Challis National Forest, managed by the Forest Service. The trail rises from about 7,388 feet to about 9,497 feet, with a total elevation gain of 437 feet, and is rated hard. The route is on natural surface, and both horses and bikes are allowed. That makes it a practical choice for riders and pack animals as well as hikers. Several other trails lie within a few miles, including Stroud Creek at 2.7 miles and Dairy Creek at 4.5 miles. Morse Creek Canyon is about 4.8 miles away, and Big Eightmile Campground/Trailhead is about 5.2 miles away.
