Beetop Ridge is a 3.9-mile out-and-back hike in the Sandpoint Ranger District of the Idaho Panhandle National Forests, managed by the Forest Service. The trail rises from about 5,537 feet to 6,206 feet, a climb of 863 feet, and is rated hard. The route is on natural surface, and both horses and bikes are allowed. The open season runs from June 1 to September 30. Porcupine Lake lies about 1.8 miles away, and Goat Mountain and the Regal Mine Spur are each about 2.1 miles off. For paddling, Lightning Creek is roughly 4.8 miles away.
