The Cloudland Connector Trail is a 2-mile out-and-back hike on the Lula Lake Land Trust Site in Georgia, managed by a non-governmental organization. The trail rises from about 1,414 feet to a high point of 1,713 feet, with a total elevation gain of 832 feet over the round trip. The steepest stretch comes early, at about 0.26 miles in, with a grade of 11 percent. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show October highs around 67°F with lows near 51°F, and May highs around 74°F. That station sits about 400 feet higher than the trail, so temperatures on the trail run a little warmer. The hike takes about 1.5 hours. Three other trails start within about half a mile: Old Falls Trail, Bluff Trail and North Creek Trail. Chattanooga Creek, a canoeing route, is about 2.6 miles away.
