Shingle Landing Boat Ramp is a boat launch in Florida on land managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, about 4 miles from the town of Fanning Springs. The most comfortable months to launch are typically in spring, when March and April bring average highs of about 75 to 80°F and roughly nine wet days a month, according to typical averages from a nearby weather station at Cross City. Summer runs hotter and wetter, with July and August averaging highs around 90°F and about 20 wet days each. Otter Springs South Trail starts just half a mile away for a walk before or after time on the water. North End Nature Walk is about 9 miles off.
