North End Nature Walk is an easy, flat loop of about 2.4 miles in Manatee Springs State Park in Florida. The trail stays within a few feet of the same elevation throughout, with the low point at 7 feet and the high at 26 feet, and the steepest stretch comes at about 2.1 miles in with a 7% grade. The walk makes a straightforward outing on park land managed by State Park and Recreation. It is a loop, so you can start and end at the same place. Bikes are allowed. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show March highs around 75°F and October highs around 81°F, with fewer wet days than the summer months, when July and August bring about 16 wet days a month. Sink Hole Trail is about 1.3 miles away, and Otter Springs South Trail is about 9 miles away.
