Rocky Neck is a bouldering area in Connecticut, about half a mile from the community of Point O'Woods. It is a compact spot for climbers who want to work on boulders rather than climb rock faces, with five boulder problems spread across the site. The climbing here is all bouldering, and the grades range from V0 to V5. The easiest route is Sturgeon at V0, and the hardest is Molten Salt at V5, which was first ascended by Shylō. The median grade is V2-3, so climbers of all levels can find something to work on. Summer is the warmest time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 80°F with lows near 65°F, while winter highs stay in the 30s and 40s. For more time outdoors, Rock Hopper Way is about 0.7 miles away, and the Green Trail, White Trail and Blue Trail are each about 1.1 miles off. Climbers looking for more rock can head to Oswegatchie Hills, roughly 3.7 miles away.
