North End is a rock climbing area in Connecticut, about 1.8 miles from the village of Quebec. It sits within a cluster of climbing areas that are close together, with Ross Rocks and the Party Wall both about 0.1 mile away. This makes it easy to pair with other crags in the same neighborhood. The area has 15 climbing routes, with sport routes making up the majority. The grades range from 5.5 to 5.11d, and the hardest is Arete-Sted Development, a 5.11d sport route. Among the routes are Hand to Hand Combat, a 5.10- trad climb, and Blood on the Cracks, a top-rope route at 5.10. Summer is the most comfortable time to climb. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Hampton show July highs around 80°F and lows near 60°F. Winter is cold, with January highs in the mid-30s. The Old Furnace Trail is about 0.7 mile away for a short hike. Within a few miles you'll also find the Sugar Brook Loop Trail, the Moosup River for paddling and the Ledge Trail.
