Ghost Face and Grave Yard is a climbing area in Connecticut, about 1.2 miles from Ledyard Center. It sits close to a cluster of hiking trails, making it an easy addition to a day spent on foot in the area. Late spring through early fall is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Groton weather station show June highs around 75°F and September highs around 74°F, with July the warmest month at about 81°F. Several trails lie within a mile, including the Blue hike and the Lester Blue Trail. Stoddard Hill State Park, another climbing area, is about 2.4 miles away, and the Mystic River offers canoeing roughly 4.9 miles off.
