Immortal Technique Wall is a bouldering area on city land in Connecticut, about a tenth of a mile from Winding Hollow. The name comes from the Immortal Technique route, a V6 boulder problem on the wall. The area is managed by the city, and the climbing here is all bouldering, with grades ranging from V1 to V10+. The most comfortable months for a visit are late spring through early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Groton show June highs around 75°F and September highs around 74°F, with July the warmest at about 81°F. Nine boulder problems make up the wall, and the Immortal Technique route is the one that gives the area its name. Other routes include C.R.E.A.M. at V5 and Under the Tree Project at V10+. The closest climbing is Winding Hollow, and the Mystic Areas and Ledyard Areas are each about 2 miles away.
