White Trail is a short hike in Connecticut, about 0.7 miles from the town of Collinsville. At just under a tenth of a mile, it is rated easy and makes a quick connector or add-on rather than a destination on its own. The route climbs about 70 feet one way, ranging between roughly 560 and 630 feet in elevation, and it loses about 105 feet along its length. That means one direction runs mostly downhill and the other mostly up, though the grade is brief either way. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to go, with typical average highs around 70°F in May and 75°F in September at the nearby Burlington weather station. Winter brings cold days, with January highs averaging about 36°F. The Yellow Trail sits just 0.1 miles away, and the Blue Trail and Blue-White-Dot Trail are both about 0.3 miles off, making it easy to link several paths into a longer outing. The Farmington River Trail lies about half a mile away.
