The Blue-White-Dot Trail is a short, easy hike in Connecticut, about 0.7 miles from the town of Collinsville. It is a short outing, roughly 0.68 miles long, with a total elevation gain of 66 feet, and it is rated easy. The trail rises from a low point of 473 feet to a high of 639 feet, and the steepest stretch comes early on, at about 0.1 mile in, with a grade of 13 percent. The route also has a total loss of 202 feet, so it is not a straight climb. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Burlington show May highs around 70°F and September highs around 75°F, with July the warmest month at about 84°F. The Blue Trail and White Trail both start within a third of a mile, and the Yellow Trail is about 0.4 miles away. The Farmington River Trail is roughly 0.8 miles off.
