Troop 7 Trail is a short, easy hike in Connecticut, about a mile from the town of Godfrey Corner. The route is roughly a mile long, with a one-way climb of about 170 feet from a starting point near 473 feet to a high point of about 507 feet. The trail is front-loaded, with the steepest stretch at about 0.8 miles in, and it ends with a drop of about 263 feet. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Danbury show May highs around 69°F and September highs around 74°F, while July peaks near 82°F. The Aspetuck Trail and Perry Trail both start about 0.1 mile away, and the Godfrey Trail is about 0.6 mile off. Climbers can find Great Ledge about 1.3 miles away.
