North Loop is a short loop hike in Connecticut, about 0.67 miles long, with a low point of 389 feet and a high of 422 feet. It is an easy route, with the steepest stretch at about 5% grade at 0.21 miles in, and the entire trip rises just 11 feet. The nearest town is Kinneytown, about 1.1 miles away. For comfortable weather, late spring and early fall are the best bets. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Ansonia show May highs around 69°F and September highs around 75°F. That station sits about 286 feet lower than the loop's high point, so temperatures on the loop run a little cooler. Lake Loop and South Loop both lie about 0.3 miles away, and Tahmore Trail is about 1.5 miles off. Climbers can find Webb Mountain Park roughly 3.4 miles away.
