North Boundary Trail is a short, easy hike in Connecticut, about half a mile long and rising just 57 feet from its low point of 311 feet to a high of 359 feet. It is a point-to-point route, and the steepest stretch comes at about 0.3 miles in, with a grade of about 3 percent. The trail sits roughly a mile from Woodbridge, the nearest town. Bikes are allowed, so the route works for a walk or a ride. The trip takes about half an hour, and the trail is open year-round. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Ansonia show May highs around 69°F and September highs around 75°F, with July and August peaking near 82°F. Several other trails lie close by. West Boundary Trail is about 0.4 miles away, Meadow Trail about 0.5 miles, and East Boundary Trail about 0.6 miles. For climbing, Pay It No Mind Cluster is about 2.3 miles off.
