Munger Brook Trail is a short, easy loop in Connecticut, about 0.8 miles long and roughly 65 feet of elevation gain, with a high point of about 350 feet. It sits about 1.3 miles from North Guilford, the nearest town. The trail is a loop, and the climb is front-loaded, with the steepest stretch at about 0.07 miles in. The route starts at around 311 feet and reaches 350 feet before descending to about 269 feet. Bikes are allowed, and dogs must be leashed. For comfortable weather, late spring and early fall are the best bets. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Mt Carmel run to highs around 71°F in May and 76°F in September, with July the warmest month at about 85°F. Other trails close by include Dudley Barrows, about 1.3 miles away, and North Loop and South Loop, each about 1.6 miles off. Climbers can find the Granite Road area about 4.6 miles away.
