Mica Ledges Trail is a short, easy hike in Connecticut, about 2.3 miles from Durham Center. The route is 0.71 miles long, with a total elevation gain of 119 feet and a high point of 585 feet. It is a point-to-point trail, and the climb is gentle, with the steepest stretch at the start, about 9% grade. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Meriden run to highs around 70°F in May and 75°F in September, and the station sits well below the trail, so temperatures on the ledges run cooler. The hike takes about half an hour. Selectmen's Path is 0.5 miles away, and the Maria Schmidt Trail and Rockland Trail are each within a mile. Paddlers can reach the Coginchaug River about 1.9 miles off.
