Meadow Trail is an easy 0.75-mile point-to-point hike in Connecticut, about 0.6 miles from the town of Woodbridge. It is a short walk with a small climb, rising from about 326 feet to 337 feet, so the total gain is 58 feet one way. The trail is rated easy and takes about half an hour to complete. It is also a route that works well with a longer outing, as it sits beside several other trails within a few tenths of a mile. Bikes are allowed, which makes it an option for riders as well as hikers. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Ansonia show July and August highs around 82°F with lows in the low 60s, while September cools to about 75°F. Winter highs stay in the 30s. The West Boundary Trail and East Boundary Trail both start within a quarter mile, and the North Boundary Trail is about half a mile away. Climbers can find Frankenrock roughly 2 miles off.
