Jericho Trail is a 3.25-mile hike in Connecticut, about 1.3 miles from the town of Reynolds Bridge. It is a point-to-point route with a steady climb, rising from 782 feet to 809 feet over the course of the trip. The trail is rated easy, and the steepest stretch comes at about 0.97 miles in, where the grade reaches 21 percent. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Bakersville show May highs around 69°F and September highs around 72°F, with July the warmest month at about 82°F. The Mattatuck Trail starts just 0.1 mile away, and the Branch Brook Trail is about 0.6 mile off. Climbers can head to Sunset Boulders, about half a mile away, and Northfield Brook Lake Group Shelters offers camping about 3.3 miles from the trail.
