Auer Farm Connector Trail is a short, easy hike in Connecticut, about 1.5 miles from the town of Case Corner. The trail is a point-to-point route of roughly a mile, with a total climb of about 167 feet from the start to the high point at 429 feet. The steepest stretch comes at about 0.66 miles in, where the grade reaches 18 percent. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Burlington put May highs around 70°F and September highs around 75°F, while July averages about 84°F and January highs sit near 36°F. Several other trails lie close by. Talcott Mt Bypass Trail is under a mile away, and White Trail and Orange Trail are both within about 2 miles. Mountain bikers can head to Weha Duro, about 2.1 miles off.
