Sunset Flatironette is a climbing area on city land in the Bergheim - Wood area of Colorado, about 0.1 mile from the Second Flatiron and Jaws climbing areas. The First Flatiron sits at the same distance, so the three form a cluster of bouldering and climbing spots close together. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 79°F with lows near 50°F, while winter highs stay in the low 40s. The Bluebell Spur Trail and Saddle Rock Trail are both about half a mile away. Boulder Creek, a canoeing spot, is roughly 1.7 miles off, and Winiger Ridge campground is about 4.9 miles away.
