South Face of Arthur's Rock is a climbing area in Lory State Park in Colorado, managed by State Fish and Wildlife. It sits among a cluster of named climbing spots, including Arthur's Rock, Drunken Master Boulder and Syringe Boulder, all within about a tenth of a mile. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 79°F with lows near 56°F, while winter highs stay around 40°F. The Westridge Trail, a mountain biking route, is about 0.3 miles away, and the Well Gulch Nature Trail and Overlook Trail are each about 0.6 miles off. Paddlers can reach the Cache la Poudre River, roughly 5 miles away.
