Horsetooth Rock - West Face is a climbing area on the west side of Horsetooth Mountain in Colorado, on county land within the Canyon Lakes Ranger District of the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests. It sits about 0.1 mile from the Horsetooth Mountain climbing area, which makes it an easy addition to a day spent exploring the mountain's rock. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 79°F with lows near 56°F, while winter highs stay around 40°F. The Westridge Trail and Wathan Trail both start within a third of a mile, and the Audra Culver Trail is about 0.6 mile away for mountain biking. Mill Creek Wall, another climbing area, lies roughly 1.6 miles off.
