SOB Gully (skier's left side) is a climbing area in the Black Canyon of the Gunnison Wilderness, within Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park in Colorado. The National Park Service manages the land, and the area sits about 0.2 miles from North Rim Campground and the Chasm View Trail. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Cimarron weather station run to highs around 81°F in June and 86°F in July, with lows in the mid-40s. Winter is cold, with January highs near 35°F and lows around 3°F. A fee is charged for access. The closest climbing areas are Aretes and Guppy Gully, both about 0.3 miles away. The Gunnison River, roughly 1.9 miles off, offers river fishing.
