Petit Bastille is a climbing area in Eldorado Canyon State Park in Colorado, managed by State Fish and Wildlife. It sits within the park's state park land unit, and two other climbing areas, The Bastille - W Face and The Bastille - N Face, lie about 0.1 mile away. The area is a traditional climbing destination with six routes, all rated between 5.6 and 5.10b on the YDS scale. The easiest is Bricklayer's Spite at 5.6, and the hardest is Scimitar at 5.10b. The routes include Eyes to See at 5.8 and Two-Tone Dihedral at 5.8, both first ascended by Harrison and Stuberg. For timing, late spring and early fall are the most comfortable. Typical averages from a nearby weather station run from highs around 69°F in May to 76°F in September, with July peaking near 87°F. The Streamside Trail and the West Ridge Climbing Access Trail are both about 0.2 mile away. Winiger Ridge campground is roughly 4.9 miles off, and Boulder Creek offers canoeing about 5.8 miles away.
