Hole in the Wall Canyon is a climbing area in the Hahns Peak-Bears Ears Ranger District of the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest in Colorado, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among several other climbing spots, with Shield of the Titans and Stump Buttress both about 0.1 mile away. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Spicer weather station, at a similar elevation, run to highs around 77°F in July with lows near 42°F, while winter highs stay in the 20s. The Cutover hike is about 0.3 mile away and the Pearl Lake Trail about 1.4 miles. Hinman Park Campground is roughly 2.8 miles off, and North Fork Elk Creek offers canoeing about 5 miles away.
