Loch Lomond is a climbing area in the Clear Creek Ranger District of the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests in Colorado. Reynolds Lake and Reynolds Boulder both sit about 0.1 mile away, which makes this a compact cluster of climbing spots in the district. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Cabin Creek weather station put July highs around 69°F with lows near 46°F, though that station sits well below the area, so temperatures at the climbing spots run cooler. September is a bit milder, with highs around 61°F. James Peak South, a mountain biking area, is about 0.6 mile away, and the James Peak Trail is roughly a mile off. For camping, Robbers Roost Campground lies about 4 miles away.
