Eagle's Peak is a climbing area in the Pikes Peak Ranger District of the Pike and San Isabel National Forests in Colorado, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among other named climbing spots, with Exemplar Tower and Falcon Spires each about 0.1 mile away, so it is a compact cluster of rock rather than a single summit. The climbing here mixes bouldering and traditional routes, with six routes in total. Three are boulders and three are trad, and the grades run from YDS 5.7 up to 5.10c/d, with V1+ to V4 on the V scale. Sleepyhead is the easiest of the named routes at 5.7, and B.U.R.L. and I'm Too Tired are the hardest at 5.10 and 5.10c/d. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. A nearby weather station records typical July highs around 84°F and lows near 53°F, though that station sits about 1,500 feet lower than the peak, so expect cooler temperatures on the rock. The Eagle's Peak Trail starts about 0.6 mile away for those who want to approach on foot, and Stanley Canyon offers mountain biking within a mile. For time off the rock, Monument Creek is about 2.4 miles away and Tent City campground is about 3.8 miles away.
