It sits close to two other climbing areas, Aircraft Carrier Boulder and South Park, both about 0.2 miles away, and to the Sunshine Trail, a hike about 0.4 miles off. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Bailey weather station, at a similar elevation, show July highs around 79°F with lows near 44°F, while winter highs stay in the upper 30s.
