Poe Buttress is a climbing area in Colorado's Cathedral Spires Park, on county-managed land. No nearest town is given, so the opening names the land unit and its manager. For timing, September tends to be the most comfortable month. Typical averages from the weather station at Bailey, about 12 miles away, show highs around 71°F and lows in the mid-30s that month. July and August run warmer but bring more wet days. Block Tower and Sunshine Wall are both about 0.1 mile away, so it's easy to string several crags into one day. The Sunshine Trail and Cynical Trail are each about 0.6 mile off. Osprey Campground, about 6.5 miles away, is the closest overnight option.
