Brown Cloud Rocks is a climbing area on North Table Mountain Park in Colorado, on county land about 0.1 mile from the Overhang Area and the Table Top Area. Several climbing areas and the Climbing Access Trail sit within a tenth of a mile, so this part of the park works as a cluster of crags rather than a single route. The area offers a range of climbing styles, with 53 routes spread between sport, trad and mixed climbing, and grades from 5.3 up to 5.12. The hardest of them, The Virus, is a trad route. Among the sport routes, Interface Arete is 5.9+, and Interface aka Slab Left is 5.8. The mixed route Anti-viral, 5.7, was first climbed by Deb Thompson. The most comfortable months are typically May and September, with average highs of about 69°F and 76°F, based on typical averages from a nearby weather station. July is the warmest, with highs around 87°F. The station sits a few hundred feet lower than the crags, so temperatures at the rocks may run slightly cooler. For a walk, the North Table Mountain Trail is about 0.4 mile away, and the Golden Cliffs Trail is a similar distance. Clear Creek RV Park, about 1.4 miles off, offers camping.
