Overhang Area is a climbing area in North Table Mountain Park in Colorado, on county-managed land. It sits in a tight cluster of climbing areas, with several other walls within about a tenth of a mile. Fall is a comfortable time to climb. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show September highs around 76°F and October highs near 64°F. The station sits about 500 feet lower than the crag, so temperatures here tend to run a bit cooler. The Climbing Access Trail passes about 0.1 mile away, and Brown Cloud Rocks and Table Top Area are just as close for extra routes in the same outing. Clear Creek RV Park, about 1.3 miles away, is the nearest campground.
